Ali In Wonderland

We were met by our Jordanian guide, Ali at the border crossing near Eilat. I, myself a guide, was accompanying a group of ( a bit nervous) elderly tourists from Florida for a day trip to Petra in Jordan. In my briefing earlier I was told that i was not allowed to do any guiding or explaining in Jordan. My presence was meant to comfort and be a familiar face to the group I had been guiding the last week in Israel.
As Ali'a counterpart and his liason with the gorup Ali explained to me what we will be doing next and then he noticed I was wearing a kipa.
